Aikido is a traditional Japanese martial art that will teach you how to “Not get grabbed, struck or taken down.” Aikido will teach you to handle real life situations involving all different attacks even from more than one person at a time on yourself and family. As you learn Aikido, you will learn discipline that will give you confidence in yourself in a real world bad situation. Aikido also works with weapons. There will be plenty of good cardio in every class as you learn rolling and tumbling. Aikido stretching is done in the beginning of every class to help get to a more flexible body. The student will become far happier with their body as well as their spirit as they train in the art of aikido.
